Description
Games have the potential to enhance the learning environment by motivating
students to engage with faculty, peers, and course material. In the ULM College of Pharmacy Practice Laboratory, games have been shown to increase engagement, teamwork, and positive student perceptions. This workshop will (1) share the teaching experience of two innovative laboratory exercises that utilized novel games to engage students while completing pharmacy practice skills and (2) assist participants in designing a game that can be adapted to any teaching environment.
