Published in the April 1, 1966 edition of the Monroe News Star, "Mrs. Percy Sandel (Anna Stubbs Sandel), shown right, widow of Judge Percy Sandel of Monroe for whom Northeast State's Sandel Library is named, has presented the pictured eight-piece silver service to the library in memory of her husband. Mrs. Maud Bentrup, head librarian, shown with Mrs. Sandel, admires the set".
