Description
The purpose of this workshop is to address the academic and social needs of students with ADA-defined disabilities and to build upon their inherent resilience. The pandemic made it more crucial to reach out to students with special needs. Faculty participants will revise one of their class syllabi to include goals, activities, and learning material that would be inclusive to students with disabilities and will describe specific instructions that students with disabilities may need to succeed in the classroom. Staff participants will describe three specific and creative ways to make students with disabilities feel an integral part of the campus community. Participation is limited; first come, first serve
