Schulze Dining and Sherrouse Halls. Printed in the October 9, 1964 editon of the Pow Wow, "New Men's Dorm--Architect Howard Rivers (left) discusses features of the new air-conditioned residence hall, which will house 408 men, with W.E. Whetstone, vice president of the State Board of Education; Mayor W.L. (Jack) Howard of Monroe, and Dr. George T. Walker, NLSC president. The occasion was groundbreaking ceremonies for the $1,800,000 dormitory and dining hall project.
