The Journal of Business & Entrepreneurship (JBE) is dedicated to the publication of articles that expand knowledge about small business and entrepreneurship. JBE addresses the needs of both academicians and business practitioners through manuscripts that cover marketing, management, finance, accounting, applied information technology, and business law. In sum, the goal of JBE is to increase theoretical and practical insights about small business and entrepreneurship. JBE’s first issue was in October 1989. We are currently in our 31st year of continuous publication. It has a current acceptance rate of 20 to 25 percent and is listed in ProQuest and Cabell’s Directory of Publishing Opportunities in Management. JBE is a publication of the Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ASBE) and is published through the University of Louisiana-Monroe.
